Coach Paul Durisseau, Head Coach - USATF Level One and USTFCCCA Technical Track and Field Certified Coach.

Coach Lavoxkeia Carnes, Asst. Head Coach/Head Cross Country Coach – Coach Carnes is a founding board member and USATF Level One and USTFCCCA Technical Track and Field Certified Coach. She served her country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army for 12 years and continues to serve as a Civil Servant. Her love of track and field extends back to her youth, where she first ran track with a summer track club between 8th and 9th grade. Coach Carnes is a product of the The Athletic Congress (the precursor to USA Track and Field) and the Amateur Athletic Union. She ran club track for Baton Rouge Express and K-Y Track Club in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was also a Louisiana State Finalist in 1987 & 1988 in the 400m, 500m (Indoor) & 800m, respectively. She received a partial track scholarship to Southern University A&M University where she ran for one year. She holds Bachelor of Science in Business from Upper Iowa University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is married to Coach James Carnes and mother of two boys and two girls--Christopher, Brittany, Lavoxkeia and Jonathan, all of which run for the Stallions.

Coach James Carnes, SFC, US Army (Retired), Head Field Events Coach-- Nearly lifelong Christian and retired veteran of the U.S. Army. After serving over 20 years in the United States Army, with tours including the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, U.S. Army Recruiting Command and The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, service in Operation Desert Storm and several other conventional unit assignments and is happy to call Spring Texas, home for almost 10 years. A fan of all collegiate football, my personal career spans playing or coaching football since 1971 at various levels from Pop Warner to college to German- American Football {NFL- Europe Introductory seasons 1982-85}. As a result of the NFL Strike of 1987, Coach Carnes had a short lived NFL career spanning just over 21 days in 1987 with the San Francisco 49ers. While he has not actively participated in competitive football since, he is an avid fan of this and other sports. Coach Carnes is a founding board member and USATF Level One USATF Level One and USTFCCCA Technical Track and Field Certified Coach of the" Texas Stallions Track Club".

Coach Amesha Forward, Head Jumps & Hurdles Coach -- USATF Level One Certified Coach. Coach Forward joined the Texas Stallions as our Jumps/Sprints Coach in 2010. In the 2011 seasons all jumpers qualified for regionals and two placed in the top 20 at the 2011 AAU Junior Olympic Games. Originally from Jasper, Texas Coach Forward is a graduate of McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science in Management where she was a sprinter/jumper on the collegiate Track & Field team from 2004-2008. She is currently a 6th Grade Math Teacher and Girls' Athletics Coach in HISD and a Graduate Student in the MBA program at Prairie View A & M University.

Coach David Goodman, Assistant Distance/Cross Country Coach-- USATF Level One Certified Coach. Born and raised in Hawaii. Never wore shoes until 8th grade. A former runner himself, Coach Goodman was a sprinter until age 14. In high school he ran Varsity Track and Cross Country freshman through senior year. He was the 440yd High School champion in 1977 (49.5, undefeated)! Ran 800m (1:58) in college, Mile (4:17). Ran the Honolulu Marathon in 1979 with a time of 2:27.42. Coach Goodman graduated college with a BS in Professional Pilot/Business Management in 1981. He served in the United States Air Force from 1981-1987, where he became an Advanced Jet instructor pilot. He currently works for Continental Airlines as a pilot, he is married to wife Tracy of 16 years and is a father of three boys Christian, Gabe, and Noah. Coach Goodman joined the Stallions in our 2011 Outdoor Season.
