 While the best of the big boys and girls were running and jumping across the state to reach the upcoming UIL state track and field championships, some of the Southeast Texas’s best young track athletes were on display Saturday morning at the Texas Stallions first ever AAU meet at Tomball Concordia Lutheran.

Location: Concordia Lutheran High School, 700 E. Main Street, Tomball, TX 77375
Event Summary:
The 1st Annual Texas Stallions Relays promises to be a fun and exciting events offering 7 relays, 5 open running events and 4 field events. The meet is open to youth ages 5 - 18. While pre-registration is desired, on-site registration will be available. Awards will be given to the top six participants in each event as well as the top two overall teams. This event is sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U. S., Inc. All participants must have a current AAU membership. AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins except where the event operator has a laptop available with an internet connect. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU web site www.aausports.org to obtain their membership.
Cost: $5 per person.

Texas Stallions Track Club set to host 1st Annual Texas Stallions Relays for Youth 6 - 18
Tomball, Texas -The Texas Stallions Track Club will be hosting its First Annual Texas Stallions Relays track meet at Concordia Lutheran High School, 700 E. Main Street, Tomball, TX 77375. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2012 starting at 8:00am. The public is invited to attend and cheer on the athletes.
There is a $5 admission fee for the event and refreshments will be available for purchase.
The event is open to all youth 6 – 18 years old and is one of a series of meets preparing local youth for the 2012 Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympics to be held in Humble Texas in August. The cost per participant is $5. There will be a coaches meeting at 7:45 a.m. on the day of the event, Saturday April, 28th.
Teams interested in participating please register at http://www.athletic.net/. Payment will be due at packet pick-up 7:00 am on meet day. Unattached athletes interested in participating please register at http://www.northhoustonyouthtrackandfield.com/index.php/individual-registration.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
 The Texas Stallions Track Club hosted an Open House/Information on Thursday, February 2, 2012 to kick-off its 2012 Outdoor Track and Field Season. Over 75 people attended the event, which was kicked off with a ribbon-cutting by the Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Visitors attending the event were treated to savory hors d'oeuvres, season highlights video, an opportunity to meet local Junior Olympians and a briefing by the Texas Stallions Board of Directors about youth track and field.
